We're very pleased to present this gorgeous 2020 Osprey Custom 4x4 OC110 Station Wagon – paying respect and homage to the classic 1993 Land Rover Defender 110.
Starting with a new galvanized, powder-coated chassis, the build was completed by world-renowned Defender experts, Osprey Custom 4x4, in Castle Hayne, NC. Motivation is courtesy of a high-revving, deep breathing 5.3L LC9 V8 mated to a smooth-shifting 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission controlled by a slick push-button gear selector with LED display, conveniently mounted in the center console. The heavy-duty LT230 transfer case distributes constant power to all four wheels, ensuring every bit of the 325+ horsepower and 330+ pound-feet of torque make it to the ground.
The upgraded, heavy-duty TDCI front and rear axles are located by stock height springs and shocks, with a Terrafirma® steering damper, all protected by a heavy-duty aluminum front skidplate. It rides on stealthy, matte-black Kahn Mondial Retro Light wheels wrapped with 265/60R20 Cooper® Discoverer AT3® XLT all-terrain tires. To tow your toys, we've equipped this vehicle with a NAS-style rear step bumper, complete with a 2" hitch receiver and trailer wiring. To ensure stopping is safe, quick, and effective, the vehicle is equipped with 4-wheel power disc brakes at all four corners.
The body panels were sprayed in classic Land Rover Keswick Green with a complimentary Santorini Black roof and then carefully reassembled on the chassis. The front end was updated with a KBX-style grill, light surrounds, and black intake and wing top vents, and finished with a heavy-duty front bumper with integrated LED running lamps. The front, rear, and interior LED light upgrades provide superior illumination for wherever your travels may take you.
The modern, TDCI PUMA-style dash provides excellent heating and air conditioning to help ensure the interior is comfortable year-round, including front AND rear air conditioning! The bespoke interior is complete with custom, heated, Autobiography leather front seats, matching center seats, and 2 matching forward-facing rear seats – this is a full 7-passenger vehicle!
The custom, leather-wrapped center console with cubby storage area is equipped with rear USB charging ports, and of course, cupholders. The front windows are power-operated, and the vehicle is equipped with keyless entry. Heavy-duty rubber factory floor mats protect the fully carpeted interior and rear loadspace area, and the luxurious black Alcantara headliner nicely tops things off inside.
Infotainment is provided by a double-DIN Alpine® touch-screen head unit with navigation, Bluetooth®, DVD playback, Apple Car Play®, Android Auto®, and a backup camera mated to a sweet-sounding JL Audio® 8-speaker array.
